Known for the quality of their concepts as well as their animation, they have created outstanding animation for both broadcast networks and commercials. How can one cut through mass media with a constructive message? To succeed and make an impact, a communication strategy must allow an individual to absorb a message in an intelligent way. Jakob Trollbäck, president and creative director of Trollbäck + Company speaks on communicating in an image- and market-saturated society.

Network Identity — The Big Idea
A network identity is more than a flying logo. It needs a concept — a big idea. Five leaders in the field of broadcast design share their work and explain what their "big idea" was and how they came up with it. Panelists include Ellerey Gave from Capacity, Limore Shur from EyeballNYC, Patrick McDonough from PMcD Design, Orion Tait of Buck, and Vasil Hnatiuk from Roger.

Jose Gomez and Andre Stringer, founders and creative directors of Shilo, discuss their perspective on work and process: how they use design, live action, animation and other tools to creatively explore and reinforce emotional narrative experiences.

How does artist Matthew Barney use 45,000 pounds of petroleum jelly, a factory whaling vessel and traditional Japanese rituals to create his latest art project? Alison Chernick's documentary, "Matthew Barney: No Restraint" journeys to Japan with Barney and his collaborator Bjork, as the visual artist creates his latest endeavor, "DRAWING RESTRAINT 9."
